I thought you might enjoy seeing what I’m working on while I’m hooking on my two big rugs!!!!! I’m finishing up these chair pads and will also be working on a couple of other rugs and more chair pads at the same time! I enjoy chair pads because you can have so much fun with them!!!!! : ) LOL
So you can see I’m not just lying around eating bon bons and watching TV!!!!! LOL I’m workin’!!!

Either your day has more hours in it than mine does or you’re much better at managing that time. Good grief, woman, you get so much accomplished!!
We had a small family barbeque yesterday…..there were only 5 of us since our grandson was with a friend at his family’s cabin. But by the time I got the clean-up done and the dishwasher running, I was exhausted and hurting. And for whatever reason, my broken finger is bothering me again. Add to that the energy-sucking heat and humidity and…..well…..there’s not much of “anything” getting done today.
I don’t know how you can be working on the two rugs that you’re featuring, plus chair pads, plus other rugs. You’re one hard-working elf!

Otherwise I might be hanging around on street corners or bothering folks in parks!!! LOL : ) Or maybe driving my husband nutty!!! LOL
Remember, we have no family very near us and those we do have in New Hampshire are younger and busier than we are! : ) We love being home so don’t go “out” much and I am not an “every day duster and tidier” of my home…except for the bathroom and kitchen! : ) LOL So I have time to enjoy the peace and serenity of our countryside and time to hook too!

Sunnie, Hi I just left a comment on your other blog. My God woman, do you sleep??? I’ve never seen such work!!! The chair pads are great as is the dyed wool. AND you’re working on two BIG rugs??? GEEZ.. I need some energy pills, now I feel like such a slacker. LOL

Yes…I sleep 8 hours a night!!! But I do hook a bit every day, even if it is only a few loops! It is all such fun and I do love adventure!!! LOL
Because of the way I hook… the “seat-of-the-pants” design-as-you-go type of hooking and the “as-you-go-along” colour decisions… I don’t usually have to stop and ponder or have someone dye wool or colour plan for me. That saves time too! : )
Now that the Helen’s Tapestry rug is finished…I only have this big rug to do. However, some of the small things are just fun to do as a sideline…so I love to hook them too.
